The IoBM’s mission is to support the personal development of professionals within the merchant industry.

We do this in a number of ways:

• By endorsing in-house training programmes and those delivered by the Builders’ Merchant Federation (BMF) and other major industry organisations.
• Our training portal offers access to a wide range of professional and manufacturing training courses.
• Members can apply for funding towards IoBM accredited training courses and qualifications, a first for the industry.
